Can't believe i'm back here after 2+ years of hiatus. I wouldn't be updating this blog often in the future though, since i doubt anybody still remembers the existence of this blog. Guess i'll only be here when i really really really need to rant about something or maybe just to note down significant events that happened so that i will not forget them.

Right now im having horrible cramps again. Why did i boast that i have never had cramps in the past, see im getting my retribution now and it haunts me every month. Why you do this to me! I hope this doesnt happen tmr because there's school plus tuition! It's a long day so no cramps please!

Boyf is only coming back on 10th Jan. Can't believe he didnt send a single msg to me for the past few days. And he left so abruptly, i couldn't even say bye. He must be enjoying life on cruise to much that he has forgotten all about me. (you'll get it from me when i get back!!!)

Dental school just started and we have 9 more weeks to go. 9 more weeks to finals and i'll be freeeee.. Can't believe i'm counting down to the next hols when the previous one merely ended one week ago, but that's how boring and dreadful dental school is. I could already feel the stress on the first day of school and it just accumulates throughout the week. Hope life gets better.

Work has been great, at least much better than working in the Kindergarten because I can now sit comfortably in my own cubicle rather than running after kids in the hot sun. hahah. Met a few really nice people who guided me and made me look forward to work everyday. :) Most of the people there are really amicable and v friendly! Some people who pass by my cubicle will actually stop to have a little chat with me from time to time. And because my division is just next to the health officers' department, I hear interesting stories like " Oh, xxx primary school has 5 students down with hand food mouth disease!" and " xx people got diarrhoea after eating vvv Nasi Lemak! " and many many more. Quite an interesting place to work in I should say, interesting people, interesting environment.

But i'm quite sad that Mabel's leaving at the end of this week. I'm supposed to be Mabel's temp by the way, I'm in cause she's leaving. Although i've only known her for one week plus, I think she's someone I'll remember for life. It's really so much fun working with her, don't think it'll be easy to get used to it after she leaves this Friday. :( But well, people come and go. Hopefully i'll bump into her on the streets someday.

And even though I just started my 2nd week there, I've heard so many ghost stories about that place and it's making me quite paranoid. (oh no) I dk why but apparently everytime we have group lunch lunch we'll end up talking about ghost stories. And those stories are not difficult to believe since those buildings used to be a taken up by a medical school. Some more people who saw them are still around in the office so it's definitely not mere hearsay. Freaky! But the building i'm in is still not that bad I suppose, just that people doing OT always hear typing at night even though they know they are the only ones left. And the security guard sometimes get a reply when he shouts " anybody in?" at night when everybody has left because he finds no one in the office later. Okay, but the one that really freaked me out was the toilet one and just thinking about it now gives me goosebumps so I shall not talk about it here but i can't believe i went to bathe after my gym session in the same cubicle as where they saw it. omggggggg!!!! So i sort of have a phobia of going to toilets now, all toilets.Thankfully I have my toilet mates! hahhaa.

Know what happened today? Mabel and I were in the toilet and when we were washing our hands we heard weird noises. It sounded like vomitting at first but it was continuously such that it ended up sounding like someone growling. I totally freaked out and instinctively grabbed Mabel's hand and dashed out of the toilet. It was really frightening and at that moment I was seriously freaked out like omg what did i just hear?!!
But guess what.......................................
It turned out to be a colleague of mine who played a prank on us cause she knows we're v paranoid after hearing all the stories, and she was laughing her ass off in the toilet after hearing us scream and run out like idiots. After knowing the truth I couldn't stop laughing for the next 15 min cause the sound she made was really funny come to think of it. It's definitely scary if it came from a supernatural being but funny if it came from her. Can't believe she did that to us la, if she didn't come and own up i'll never ever dare to go to the toilet again.

Okay, that's a little update of my new job :) Work load may get a little heavier after Mabel leaves next week but I heard there's an intern coming in so hopefully she'll help to lighten my work load.

I wasn't very excited about the concert at first but HE GOT ME SWOONING OVER HIM THROUGHOUT THE CONCERT! I really really really must say that HE'S SO CHARMING! I LOVE HIS VOICE, I LOVE THE WAY HE SINGS, I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM! How can anyone sing so well so naturally! + he sang Yaoyao's Ai de bao bao, and Wondergirls' Nobody with all the actions. DAMN CUTE ONLY LA.
I took like one million photos, i just couldn't help it! He was so near to me cause i was seated at the 4th row from the front and I could see him sooooo clearly!

He said that he's not v good at talking, especially in big events like a concert, but he is supposed to talk to the audience for 2 full minutes and he finds that a challenge. He spoke to us but he wasn't on stage, instead, his substitute poster was there. Lol.
This costume was quite funny, made him look like a cauliflower.

He was on roller blades for this one and i find it quite creative. He almost fell down twice, got us all worried and he told us " Bu yao dan xin wo, wo you lian guo!" hahaha so cute.

I know that I'll not miss this job because i'm just not a very 'Kindergarten teacher' person. Hah, but I know that I'm going to miss the kids. I'll miss how they call me "Rui Qi jiejie" even if what follows is " I want to peepee." Somehow when i sang my last 'Zai Jian Ge' (goodbye song) just now I almost burst out in tears, probably because i'll never be able to hear the cacophonous chorus of the kids anymore. But oh well, they're so young, they'll probably forget about me in 2 weeks' (hopefully longer) time? They probably don't even understand what i meant when i said that today would be my last day and I'll not be here anymore when school reopens. Yes, they crowded around me when i said my 'goodbye speech' but i suppose the packets of biscuit in my hands acted as the bait. Lol.

I had my fair share of obedient, naughty as well as initially obedient kids. hahah. Had enough of running after kids, catching kids in class to make sure that they sit down for lesson, wearing their underwear/pants/shoes for them so i guess i'm happy that I can finally take a break! No more waking up at 5.30am everyday even though i don't have to go to school. No more falling sick more frequently than before because of kids sneezing or coughing in my face! Yay, BREAK TIME!! It's ironic how i was one of the first to say that I want to leave that place but ended up staying the longest.

K so here comes the photos! Huipei was telling me she took Eighteen photos with the kids today, and I replied that I think I took Eighty. Turns out I took 120!! I have more than 150 photos of the kids in total now!
Enjoy the photos but let me warn you that looks are deceiving. They may look cute but you never know... (hahaha)

This little girl is Isabella and she's the most obedient girl ever. I fell in love with her since the first day of school cause she's so independent and has never cried for Mama + she's cute! I love her big eyes!

Ryan is the rather mature for his age.

Yi Xuan likes to play.
Xin Ru is the only (half) ang moh in class. She has a bit of a temper and attitude and sometimes she'll give you some deadly stare which is actually quite scary.

Ryan and Yang Zhi. Yang Zhi's left eye is not functioning well but other than that he's perfectly fine. He may be v nuah nuah( soft) sometimes, lazing around and refusing to speak and refusing to do his work but i still find him adorable. He sticks to me in class everyday, haha. I asked him if he'll miss me after i'm gone and he nodded his head! I'm so touched!

Ouuuuuuu, this innocent looking boy is DANGEROUS. Throughout the past few months he had pulled my hair, tried to kill me by strangling me, pinched me, bit me, took away my spectacles, flattened my -- by hugging me so tightly intentionally, molested me and then tried to look innocent. He got us teachers into so much trouble because he will injure someone almost everyday. zzz. Hui pei and many other people think that he's cute. Let me emphasize that HE IS NOT CUTE AT ALL. hahhaa.

MIN YEN! is another adorable girl. She eats a lot, like 4 servings every meal, and so she's kinda round (lol) but really cute! She's v good tempered, whenever people snatch her toys she'll just give it to them and she refers to everybody as her friend. hahaha.

Emma is a demure little girl who can get quite loud sometimes especially when she's singing but at other times she'll be sitting down quietly, listening to teachers.

MY FAVOURITE HANDSOME BOY HAS GROWN, HASN'T HE? He's even more handsome now! Oh man, no more handsome boy to look at everyday. hahahha.

WA WA WA. LOOK AT THAT INNOCENT FACE! Why is it that the naughty kids in my class ALL have innocent faces!? DON'T TRUST THAT LOOK, he can drive you crazy.

Wen Yi ahhhhh, mature but immature.

This is Gabrielle and SHE IS REALLY PRETTY! plus she's intelligent too. We were in the gym today and she actually told her friend "Move, man!" hahahah. And some weeks ago one kid did something rather funny and she went "oh my goodness!(slaps her forehead)" Can you imagine a 3 year old talking like that?! She's a funny little girl.

WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?
Life after receiving my A level results is definitely stressful. I have so many decisions to make and so many options that i need to consider. All these decisions are going to affect the rest of my life! Before the release of results í made up my mind to study Biomedical science, but now i'm thinking of going for Dentistry. How!

Furthermore, there are only a few overseas scholarships available that will allow me to study biomedical science and i just stupidly sent off 2 applications without attaching my testimonials and reference letters!!! AM I RETARDED OR RETARDED? I'd just eliminated 2 scholarships from my very limited choice. Oh welllll let fate decide then, let's hope that they'll decide to be nice and consider me for the scholarship despite the lack of testimonial or reference letters. lol

Well i guess i'll continue to think about what topic to write on for my USP essay in case i decide to go to NUS afterall.

I AM REALLY GETTING THE JITTERS!

I still remember how i felt 2 years ago when we collected our O level results, so anxious and flustered. I guess i'll feel the same tomorrow all over again. Hopefully nobody will call me to tell me some fake results and cause me to cry over nothing this time round. Hopefully i'll shed some tears of joy instead. Once the long awaited result is released, i'll be able to finally decide on what I can and want to do. I MUST GET A SCHOLARSHIP! Or else my london dream will be dashed. Let's see how it goes tomorrow then. I'll go and pray for tomorrow now. AHHHHHHHH.

Happy new year guys, just a little update here.

I haven't written anything for so long that my brain's kinda slow now, can't think of appropriate words to type ahhhhh but i'll try.

K i'm actually quite proud of myself cause i've only started giving tuition about 3 weeks ago and i already have 5 students now!!! That's an accomplishment! Which means i can happily quit my Kindergarten job without worrying that I'll go into a financial crisis, hahaha. But i really must go and read up on my physics cause it's getting rusty. I actually mixed up longitudinal waves and transverse waves and sort of insisted that i was correct when my student told me the correct answer. Scared she sack me only. haha. I wonder why none of my students take biology, i'll be glad to tutor biology instead of physics! Give me a bio student quick! hahah.
Oh anyway i'm really quitting my kindergarten job soon. I like the kids generally ( except those naughty ones) but it's rather tiring. I have to bend down while talking to the kids and it's giving me backaches. lol. But i think the main thing is, the pay's not that good. I'm earning more giving tuition a few hours a week than devoting all my mornings and afternoons to the kindergarten, I might as well just give tuition right?

I'm thinking of taking up guitar lessons soon, probably starting next week. Since i have a guitar at home then i shouldn't waste it. hah i'm going to lead a fulfilling life!

Why did i fall sick today zzz. I'm sorry baby for making you camp at home with me on our last monthiversary before you enlist. :( Thanks a lotttt for staying with me, bringing me to the doctor, volunteering to piggyback me (--kg only la! hahah) when i felt faint, buying bitter medicine and forcing me to drink and hugging me to sleep.

HEYYYYYYYA I'M BACK FROM HA ER BIN!
(and I don't ever wanna visit it again!)

The temperature's scarily scary there and it just gets lower and lower. Before arriving at Harebin we actually visited Da Lian, Shen Yang and Chang Chun. I know all these places sound foreign, i've never heard of them either before the trip. It was about -10c at Da Lian, then -15c at shen yang and chang chun. Harbin was hell cause it was nearing -30c. Can you imagine -30c!!?? My fingers and toes get frozen whenever i stand outdoor for more than 10 min and it's reallllly unbearable! And the snow made the floor all slippery so it was quite difficult to walk. Truth is I don't remember much of the places we visited in the previous 3 provinces because there's really nothing much, thankfully there are some photos to remind me about them. I only remember that it's freaking COLD COLD COLDDDDDD! Photo taking was a chore because the battery of my camera kept freezing so we could only take a few photos at a time before it freezes and then try to 'melt' the battery by putting the camera in our pockets with the heat pack. lol.

The attractions are mostly artifical so I wasn't very impressed. BUT IT SNOWED DURING CHRISTMAS!! So i had my first white christmas, quite memorable :) Christmas would be much better if it wasn't so cold though, i was so affected by the cold that i was trying to keep myself warm all the time than enjoying the snow. But it was still v pretty, like small cystals falling from the sky.

Our first stop was a museum which had 2 real mummies in it and it was rather creepy! That's the museum behind us. The weather was still quite alright at that time, so we were not heavily clothed. The number of layers of clothes increases progressively during the trip. hah.

They have like 40 over guang chang at Da Lian. I supposed Guang Chang is just a term used for wide open space with some specially designed buildings or sculptures here and there, that are supposedly tourist attractions.

The only attraction that amazed me was the Guai Po ( direct translation : weird hill) where the directions are reversed such that when you cycle/walk/drive downhill some effort is needed whereas you can go uphill effortlessly. I tried cycling and it's really cool cause you don't even have to cycle uphill, the bicycle will just go upwards by itself as if you're going downhill. Nobody has the answer as to what's going on even after many many tests, so maybe......it's the spirits. I could feel some force pushing me from behind when i was walking uphill, creepy right!

This is one of the beach at Da Lian and there's a myth about it. Something about the Hai Long Wang's daughter falling in love with a guy who was killed by a tiger later on, so she was damn sad and couldn't stop mourning his death by the sea and she eventually turned into a mountain. Lol. She's....one of the mountains behind us, i dk which one.

We left for Shen Yang after that. Visited the palace where a few emperors of China resided a few hundred years ago. I expected it to be much bigger though. It doesn't have the lakes/pond and the many many rooms of the palaces we see in huan zhu ge ge and shows like that. lol. Maybe 'cause it's one of the earlier palaces so it wasn't very magnificant.

Then we went to Zhang xue liang's mansion, he's one of the famous generals in the past. He just died recently i think.
This is a wax museum of the bank that he owned. Nothing is real except me and my sis. Those 'people' look damn real, when i first got into the bank I was still wondering why is it so crowded -.-

After Shen Yang, we proceeded to Chang Chun. I think Chang Chun's the most boring province. Full of travelling but nothing to see. Waste time and petrol only.

And we went skiing! at chang chun for a while. It was very tiring and very cold. We were all moving around with restricted movements looking damn fat, ugly and clumsy. I was sweating but my hands were frozen, terrible:(

We took a 2hr ride to this Korean village which was deserted. zzz I expected some tour around the place to allow us to find out more about the village but there wasn't and we just walked around aimlessly and took some random photos. Waste time only! Apparently the village head ran away with the villagers' money so it's now a dead town.

We visited this deer farm which specialises in deer products. We didn't buy any cause it was too cruel! Deers are such docile and cute animals.

The sceneries along the way while travelling from place to place were rather breath taking, full of snow and all. I rather look at all these than some no link church/railway station/bank and things like that.

Finally..... Ha er bin!! The coldest of all places.

I don't remember the name of this place but the whole area's filled with snow carvings and the temperature was low low low low low but it was not the coldest.

It looks so dark here, but actually it's only 4.18pm! The sun starts to set at about 4 everyday so the day is short but the night is long. I'll start to feel sleepy at about 9 everyday! There's no night life over there, nobody wants to go out due to the cold and they rather sleep. The shops close at about 9 everyday so we can't shop even if we want to.

My mum kept saying that the people are damn free cause they can just spend hours carving snow/ice everyday. lol. But that's what keeping the tourism industry going, if there's no such snow/ice sculptures there'll be nothing to see in Haerbin seriously.

And it was snowing rather heavily that night during christmas. They say the temperature will be higher when it's snowing but I was still freezing the same and couldn't feel the difference. Guess i'm already numbed from the cold.

After that we visited the ice palace where the sculptures are made of ice instead of snow.

The ice palace was the worst. COLD LIKE HELL SERIOUSLY. Normally it'll take about 30 seconds to freeze the battery of my camera but in this place it took only like 10 seconds!! We were all wrapped up like a terrorist, but it was still freezing cold. But maybe it's 'cause we had already been outside for about
3 hrs, cannot tahan alr.

One of the attractions was Dong Yong ( which means swimming during winter) Those people are crazy. I was wrapped up like a dumpling with 5 layers of clothes and I was still freezing and they actually dare to jump into a pool of ice cold water with the surrounding temperature at -30c to swim! Of course they didn't swim for long cause it was really too cold. There were about 10 swimmers and they each did one lap.

This is another guang chang. I stayed outside for about 5 min before running back to the coach cause i could feel myself freezing. lol.

We visited the tigers/lions too! Some of them were really cute, there was one licking it's paws like a cat. hahaha

And this is Ji Di Guan, something like an underwater world.

This dolphine's really cute! And the performance was amazing, i wonder how they train the dolphines. There were 2 dolphines and while one's performing the other will stand( or swim) at attention at the side with it's head sticking out of the water. cute!!
This is another ice palace which is smaller.

This is an old railway station that is still in operation, built in some kinda Russian style, that's what makes it special. I found it quite lame, bring me to railway station for what, nothing nice somemore!

Yeap that's about it! Haerbin was the prettiest but it was really really too cold, even my homeostatic mechanism can't deal with the cold! After the 3rd day or so i was already hoping that I can get back to Singapore as soon as possible. I rather it be hot than to be cold! Thank god i'm finally back in Singapore, i can finally wear T shirts!! hahaha. Anyway i must really cherish all these photos, took me soooooo damn much effort to capture them, risking my life as well as that of my camera's.

He was my husband yesterday, hahah! Quite a few people said that i looked like a bride, including the taxi driver. hahaha. & he was v handsome yesterday! C: Halfway through the dinner he took off his blazer and came over to my table acting like a waiter and refilled our drinks for us. lol so cute! He looked quite like a waiter actually, with the bow tie. hahhh

Jon soh commented that Francine looked like Zhong Qin yesterday hahah. I can't see the resemblance though.

Went to Helipad with bb for a while after prom but we found it kinda boring so we left for the river side (literally). Sat there and talked all the way until 3am before making our way home.

As i was uploading the photos, the fact that I may never be able to see some of these people ever again hit me. Even though I never really felt attached to Hwa Chong, the sudden realisation that I'm leaving the school, leaving my class and friends is rather depressing. No more lectures, tutorials, Ct sessions, yong tau foo, Meiji milk, gg to school with bb .......... I'm going to miss all these :(
Well, i guess i have to comfort myself that it's part and parcel of life and it's time I embark on a new journey! I won't forget all the fun I had with you guys though, love you all!

WOO I COMPLETED MY FIRST 10KM RUN!
I thought I wouldn't be able to complete it but surprisingly I enjoyed the run very much! Maybe if i feel well prepared by next year I shall join the 21Km run.
Actually the event wasn't very organised, cause there were sooooo many people running, like one whole sea of people flooding the roads and I had to push and shove my way through, hahah. Okay not really, but i had to squeeze through the crowd. I didn't even know that it had already started cause i was way behind, until i saw people running in front. lol. But anyway, I DID IT! :)

This bunch of v nice classmates of mine celebrated my birthday for me on wed. :) Ate and talked for almost 4 hrs at sizzler!!

Got a few pleasant surprises today, like how bb suddenly appeared at my void deck to pass me my present and then another surprise when bb left a bouquet of flowers with the vballers so i could get it when I met up with the vballers. But i feel quite bad for ruining a few surprises today too hahahah. Sorry bb for not gg to school today and ruining your plan! Sorry Galvin for again, not gg to school, and wasting your time 'bending the wires' i dk what you're doing though. hahaha. And I surprised xy,sr and vera by appearing from behind them and ruining their surprise for me. haahaha.

SCHOOL'S OUT!!

I've been waiting for this day since I dk, the beginning of J2? Now that it's finally here I'm not exactly feeling elated or anything, probably even a bit sad. Just when I'm really enjoying the company of my classmates.... sighhh well life's always like that. Furthermore study break = prelim and A level's nearing, like seriously. I'm not even feeling prepared, the more i study the more i realise there are still so many things i am so lost at. How frustrating. It's like i suddenly lost my brain or something, I can't think anymore and everytime my brain functions for 5 mins it hibernates for 30 mins or so, i feel lethargic everytime, everywhere. Maybe it's just lack of sleep, i'm going to sleep for as long as i want tonight and pray that i'll wake up fully charged tmr.

Anyway I was in this dilemma about whether to apply for Cambridge these few weeks but i finally made a decision to drop it today because i don't see the need to stress myself to get into a top university. Actually i'm not really confident of my ability, especially since i dont take any h3 and i don't own an impressive portfolio. I may just be wasting my time doing research and preparing for the interview instead of focusing on A levels. So yeaaaa no more Cambridge. That's a huge burden off my shoulder.

I uploaded some photos we took in school today on facebook because blogger doesn't allow me to upload any photos. Check them out cause there are photos of MR CHAN!! I'm going to miss him man, he's so knowledgeable and made biology more than merely reading notes and doing tutorials, i almost wanted to ask him to be my god father! Haha. Plus he's always so happy, i feel happy whenever i see him too. hahah. I think he is the one who inspired me to continue taking Biology in University. A good teacher really makes a big difference!

When I first saw what happened to my room upon reaching home today I couldn't stop swearing.
My room was half flooded after the downpour cause I absent mindedly left the windows open this morning zzzzzzzzz. It was so terrible. My whole table was wet and my notes were screaming and drowning in the water, and my poor poor poor calculator which stayed with me through O levels and almost made it to A level with me is pronounced Dead. Damn it, DAMN IT. I spent like 500 hours clearing up the mess which was a total waste of time. And even up till now, my bed and some of my notes are still wet. Those that are finally dry look damn awful like some giam cai wth man I hate this.

Durian+peppermint+vanilla+cappuccino+passion fruit+a bit of yam and green tea.

Cute but deadly. It seriously didn't taste okay, i had to force myself to swallow it. It was such a horrid mix!!! The mint+yam+greentea tasted like medicated oil and the vanilla+greentea+cuppaccino looked like vomit that had been stepped by someone. It was so disgusting omgggggggg hahaha

I SURVIVED BIKE HIKE!!!!

My muscles are aching and my butt is rotting but at least we conquered it! I was so worried that I might be knocked down while cycling along the road, there's such a high possibility that i could almost imagine it but i survived!!

We cycled all the way from East coast to Singapore flyer to lau pa sat to vivo city to clementi to jurong to bukit gombak to bukit batok to school to town and back to east coast, and it took about 9 hrs in total. I was already swearing at all the uphills and humps on the roads after the first 20 km cause i'm totally drained and my butt was hurting like crazy. I dk how i did it but i just continued cycling, despite the huge accumulation of lactic acid in my muscles cells. It was such a torture + maybe a little bit of fun along the way at the checkpoints, it's quite difficult to talk while you're on the bike.

The main point is I SURVIVED. hahaha.

It's funny how insensitive they can get by complaining about how screwed-up their lives are without considering what the others are going through or had been through. It's like complaining to someone with lousy results about how your results suck when you're top in school, complaining about how getting champions for whatever cca you're in is crap when people like us are dying to get it. I think we tend to forget what we've accomplished as we're too focused on competition and comparison, so engrossed with it that we continue with it even without a reason. We often dwell on our weaknesses, belittle ourselves, thinking that we're not as good as someone else, not as successful, not as good-looking, not as intelligent..... But no one is good in everything.

We constantly attempt to strive for the best,but if we're never satisfied with what we already have we can never achieve and become the best.

Totally trying to be funny mannnn.

The 5 of us went all the way back to chungcheng only to find that their vball training ended early due to some oral examinations. I was so looking forward to it, i haven't played vball with them for soooooo long. Seems like we have to find another day to go back or maybe we'll have to wait until.......A level's over. Sad!

痛苦

I've never ever wanted to win a match so badly.
I told myself we have to take it down and we have to be winners, at least for today. It's such an important match since it will determine if we can proceed into top 4, we cannot afford to lose. Winning is our only option.

We went on court and played our hearts out. It is undeniable that it was the best game we had played so far, since there's really nothing to lose. I told myself to go for every ball and I tried my best, I could tell that my teammates tried their best too.

But sadly we lost.

At least we fought till the end, there's nothing to regret when we look back.

Although winning is not everything, it is what we had been training for. It is our common goal, it is the reason why we're a team and the purpose why we're putting in so much effort and spending so much time training.

Although we lost, at least it left me with tonnes of precious memories that will always be kept close to my heart because we once endured everything and fought together as one. I'll never forget the fun, laughter, tears, late + long trainings and tough 3x pt we shared and overcame together. & the really really enjoyable taiwan trip that integrated me into the team and made me feel like i actually belong to it. Hcvb reignited my passion for volleyball, something that I thought i would never get back. I used to dread trainings like hell and couldn't wait for trainings to stop, but I look forward to every training in hwa chong. Hcvb really changed my life in hwa chong and I seriously regret not joining you guys earlier. :( I wonder how much fun i'd missed out in the past.

I remember when i first joined Hcvb i didn't even think of getting into the team. I wasn't motivated at all and even felt that I would prefer being a bencher rather than one of the six players on court. I must admit that I returned to volleyball because i felt that i didn't have any other talent and vball was my only choice if i were to choose a cca. After 4 years of playing libero, i told myself that if i were to play libero again, i'll rather not play. But coach gave me hope. I can still recall what he told me when i first joined, " You used to play libero? That's so wasted! I'll prove to your previous coach that you can do much more than that" I was really touched. I started training as a spiker and started to enjoy training a lot, which motivated me to want to excel. To those people who has been a spiker throughout, you won't understand how much i cherish this new role. I was never given this chance to attack, all i did in the past was to defend, defend and defend which was a goddamn boring role. Spiking makes people feel good, at least you earn a point for your team directly. I felt in love with vball again. When our setter decided not to go for the taiwan trip, he gave me this chance to take on the role of a setter which was again a whole new experience. My previous team mates would all know that setting is not something i'm particularly good at, or rather it's not something i would try. I was really nervous when i had to suddenly switch into a setter as i wasn't confident of my setting at all. I didn't understand why he had to make me the setter esp when the setter plays such an important role of controlling the game. A good set to the correct person would mean one point scored for the team, I was actually intimidated when he chose to give me this crucial position. I was so afraid that i would pull the team down in Taiwan because i had to master all the correct techniques within just 2 weeks. But he proved me wrong again. He proved to me that I could do it and with that we conquered 2 out of the 3 schools we played with in taiwan, which was quite an achievement. I learned so much from this experience, and of course, benefitted a lot from the taiwan trip. I had a change in mindset after it, I knew that I want to be part of this team, I want to represent Hwa chong.

After that we started preparing for nationals. I knew that coach was in a dilemma whether to put me as the libero or to give me another position but he ultimately decided to put me as subset. I was elated because I really really do not enjoy being the libero. But subset is a new position to me, I had to start learning again. As a subset, i get to block, spike and set, what more can i ask for? I was really contented with it. Within this short time span of a few months, I was exposed to so much more than i did throughout my 4 years as a vballer in chungcheng. For that, i must really thank coach for believing in me and giving me so many opportunities to take on different roles in the team and most importantly for giving me this chance to be part of hcvb.

Seriously I wonder how life would be like without training. I'm going to miss you guys like crazy! I'll treasure our last training tomorrow and our last match against dhs on Monday, which is also probably the last volleyball match for me.

HCVBALL <3

We may have lost one match but it's not the end of everything.

I don't think I've ever broken down like how I did yesterday after losing the match. At the instant when the winning point was scored by the opponent team, I could feel this sudden dampening of mood and some of us broke down immediately. The overwhelming sense of dejection only hit me hard when we were having our debrief and I finally couldn't take it anymore.
We didn't train so hard to lose, we want to win.
People didn't believe in us right from the start, but we have to prove them wrong. We know that we can do much better than this, this small setback is just a reminder for us to work harder and to put in our very best for our following matches. I'm sure that it has inadvertently aggravated our hunger to win and as what Mr Tan said, it is actually a blessing in disguise. Every obstacle is a stepping stone to success, without this we would not have realised how much we want to win.

I've always believed that HC VBALL is a winning team, and it will be.

We shall not let the tears we shed go to waste. Hang in there girls, we'll work towards it together.

This inspiring Email from Mr Tan really made me feel like crying after reading.

Dear girls,

it is true we lost this match. But it is also true we fought hard all the way as a team. From the players on the court playing and helping with the balls, to the players on the bench and those filming, I am proud to say it was one hell of a great performance. The highlight for me was when those filming came down and cheered their hearts out for the team.

Although i look cool most of the time, as usual, my heart was going up and down with the scoreline - i worry for mr foo's heart lol.

I feel that this loss is actually a blessing in disguise, as i am very sure we will improve after this. We have to, and we will.

Remember girls, no one believed in us from Day 1. We were not going to be the all-conqueoring side of last year from Day 1. We were going to have to fight for each and every point in each and every match from Day 1. Given a choice, I would choose this path anyday.

And from the quarters onwards, we will have to play this way and really really fight for it - all the way to the finals. What this loss did was to let us get used to this pressure situation earlier, and we will be better prepared mentally than other teams who had it easy.

So let's focus on the next round and take each game and each point one at a time. Now is the crucial period - what you do now will directly affect the events of the next 2 weeks.

Give your 100% for each and every trainings we have left. Leave nothing behind.

If that is not enough, think about what you can do to improve.

Imagine 2-3 weeks from now, we have lost and are out(touch wood), and you have a time machine - what would you do if you have the chance to do it all over again? how would you have prepared? how would you have worked so very hard?

If we made many service errors, can we practice serving everyday? Is 50 balls a day enough? How about 100? How about 200? Is it possible to train so well that you can hit ANY area you like on the court?

If you feel your spiking is weak, can we do more PT? or go to the gym? skip more ropes? improve/change your spiking technique?

If you worry about the opponent, can we study them so closely that we know them like the back of our hands? can we look at the videos that the girls so diligently helped to record? can we study the statistics?

Is there enough time to do all these?

Ultimately, you have to answer these questions yourself. Coach will be there and do his part. The teachers will give any support required. Can you do more?

To the videographers - it is a thankless job you are doing, I understand your desire to be near to your teammates and cheer for them like you did today. But pls understand your job is extremely important as well. Jiaolian will study all the opponents you have taken and devise his tactics based on the videos. It is crucial we get the best view possible and record the best priceless moments. So pls continue with the good work! i suggest you take turns to cheer/record.

To the players who didn't play - it is not easy to prepare for a game and yet not play. There's defintely gonna be some disappointment but i think u gals responded wonderfully. You gave great support throughout the game and especially during training. Keep up the good work!

To the players - remember you are not fighting alone for we are with you! Keep up the courage, determination and fighting spirit shone today ya :p

To the y1s - it is not an easy transition from B girls to A division, but i believe you gals have done it seamlessly. You have done very well overall and shown glimpses of great moments. I also believe there's still alot you can improve on, another whole level you can go to. I hope you can go to that level in the next 2 weeks, dun wait for next year ya! and the tears you've shed for hwa chong today.......HC heart you.

To the lau zharbors - the juniors in the team look up to you and the pressures is great, you can do it! cherish each and every training session, each and every moment on court like it is your last. jiayou!

The fact that school's starting TOMORROW totally ruined my mood to blog, but I think I really should blog about this very very memorable Taiwan trip with my uber fun vball team!

We departed at 8.30am for Taiwan last week. Truthfully, I wasn't very sure if i would enjoy the trip cause I didn't really know Zoe and Jaya(our seniors) before the trip since i only joined the team after they left. But within the first day i realised they are such funny and cute people and I felt really comfortable with them around. \O/
First match! where we lost. Lol. But we won the 2nd and 3rd matches against other schools!

Yiting joined us for training on that day too!! How cool is that! She fell in love with Zoe cause she thinks zoe's too cool and pro. hahah. From then on Zoe became Yiting's hero. hahaha

We had free and easy on the 2nd last day, so we took their bus and mrt to xi men ting and di xia jie. And oh ya, we saw hei she hui's yao yao on the mrt, she was sitting just directly opp us. Her brother is really cute but she's not v pretty. hahah.

She can kiap the chip using her eyes!! hahah. Anyway, the chip is for our mrt trip and it works just like ezlink, we just tap it and enter the station!

We started playing games on thursday night cause there will not be training on friday so we could afford to sleep later. We played until all of us feng diao like mad people seriously la cause the games jillian taught us were all damn funny. Then they decided to have forfeits for it and whoever who loses 10 points first will have to take photo with a guy and for dk what reason they were damn excited to make me lose cause they want to see me take photo the guy i'm supposed to take with. And for dk what reason again i suddenly jumped from 2 to 5 points after a trip to the toilet and i think i had bad luck or something so i lost. zzzz

After that we proceeded back to our hotel to get our luggages and to the airport, aww.

We started playing games again at the airport and became damn high. Anyway, Zoe's expression is hilarious, she makes it seem like the persimmon is watching pon.

We celebrated Jillian's birthday at Changi airport before we headed home.

I feel like going back to taiwan with them now. I feel much more bonded to the team now and I really regret not joining vball earlier, wonder how much fun i missed out. But anyway,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

What's New year without my mahjong khakis?
As usual Vera came late(!) but we still had a great time watching taiwan's countdown programme, laughing at how hebe's tube slid down to her waist while she was dancing and how she kept pulling it up, playing mini mahjong on a mini table, bridge and tai di (I don't play card games normally), mixing absolute vodka with f&n raspberry and soda, comparing the redness of our faces (and xy emerged champion), being happy, happy and happy!

Xinying is damn cute la! hahah.

Kenneth says i should post on my new year resolutions but i'm too lazy to think of any.

Anyway I'm leaving for taiwan this Sunday for vball and I think I'm quite excited about the trip, not too excited about getting thrashed by the pro taiwan teams though. And i can't believe I'm playing setter, the last time i played that position was when I was still in Poi Ching primary hahah but, i think i have no choice but to play it well. Wish me luck!! :D

For most of you who do not know, i visited Malacca with my Mum last last weekend and Genting/KL last week with my Dad.

My hotel room had a really great view of the theme park, which i didnt go since i don't really like those rides. I'm too old for them, hahaha.

The temperature at Genting was quite low, i wanted to challenge myself by gg out in a T-shirt but once I stepped out of my room i regretted my choice. ha ha.

The cable car ride was quite scary, the beginning felt like a roller coaster though slower. It's really steep and you can't imagine what will happen if your cable car drops.

Why do i look so tall/ why do my dad look so short here. haha. He used to be 178 but shrunk to 176 after being washed by the washing machine too frequently, suo shui le.

We went down to Kl the 2nd day and stayed there for 2 more nights.

We caught Ip man( I didn't know it's pronounced as Yip Man until i watched it) in Genting and the day the earth stood still in kl, wanted to watch Bolt on the third night but my dad refused to watch a cartoon lol,l so we went to a bar instead. I wanted to try some liquor but ended up with a fruit juice instead haaaaa cause i humji, not that my dad didn't allow me to try. He actually wanted me to drink cause he thinks it's important to be able to hold my liquor. I think my dad is quite cool cause he was thinking of how to get me into the casino in Genting lol, but he decided that he should be a good daddy and shouldn't bring me into those places. I wouldn't be able to get in anyway. Anyway, most of the time spent in Kl was spent shopping shopping and shopping. I felt quite bad cause whenever i shop my dad will stand/ sit outside the shop to wait for me. Gah.

Anyway our coach was supposed to come at 1345 on Monday but it only came at 1515 -.- We only knew after my dad called them that the coach which we were supposed to take broke down when it was coming down from Genting. To compensate for it, they gave us a free upgrade to a better coach so.. still not bad la. haha.

The whole coach ride back was alright but the stupid taxi driver who drove me home made me feel damn sick though it was just a 30 min ride. zzz

Oh well, Christmas is coming and since i dont think i'll be blogging anytime soon, i shall wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS IN ADVANCE!

I LOVE SINGAPORE!
(& i seriously abhor China.)

Most of them squeeze and push as if they are rushing for reincarnation and they spit everywhere. The worst thing is toilets which are situated in the rural areas have no doors and you can smell them from 50m away. They don't even have toilet bowls and you have to do your business in some sort of drain. If you really need the loo all you have to do is to take a deep breath, do a 50m dash in, do your business and do another 50m dash out. I really appreciate the clean toilets in Singapore now. Singaporeans are also such nice people!

Okay let's begin!

Day 1

The first first first sight seeing venue we visited is De Tian waterfall.

This waterfall is situated at the border that separates China and Vietnam. 1/3 of it belongs to Vietnam while the other 2/3 belongs to China, quite cool right.

The waterfall behind me belongs to vietnam, the one behind my sis is China's.

I forgot what is this place in Nan ning is called but you can find the Singapore flag there! Delegates from different countries will gather to hold conferences here.
This is damn funny hahahahahaaaaa.

Day 2

We went to this small village to watch a performance on this very popular story( in China) of Liu San Jie, we were supposed to Chang shan ge and the China ppl there were damn enthu okay they sang really loudly. =/

After that we took a 5 hrs bus ride to GuiLin.

Day 3

We visited fu po shan which was rather pretty. There are many carvings of poems by famous poets in the past, some slightly erroded after standing for a few hundred years .

There's a legend about why there is this small gap in between the stones where my hands are. It's said that there was this very strong soldier who stuck it with his sword and divided the stone into two. Ha ha, so pow-derful la.

We then visited a village to look at their way of life and to have lunch.

Day 4

Another lake, another lake.

After walking around, taking photos, feeding the fishes for about an hour, we proceeded to Xiang Pi Shan.

The hill behind supposedly looks like an elephant

These two pagodas which are built on the lake are called yue ri ta, meaning one represents night and the other, day. Aiya nothing special la, one of Chung cheng's classroom blocks also stands on the chung cheng lake.

Shopping!! Finally. But you can only find sweaters and all the winter clothings there, which are not of much use in Singapore.

Day 6

Merryland theme park, escape theme park is nothing compared to this, actually escape theme park is nothing compared to everything. The third person there is my grandmother by the way. hahaha.

We didn't play much because we only got about 2 + hours before we had to go back to check out of our hotel and to leave for our next destination.

Next : Shi Wai Tao Yuan.

We boarded a boat and took a little tour down the river around the island.

They were singing and dancing without clothes! The weather was rather cold at that time if i remember correctly.

Day 7

Next : Li Jiang

This river is really breath-taking and the mist really enhanced the beauty of the scenery. We boarded a boat again, and off we go!

See i look like ba zang, it was v v v cold there. haha, okay maybe not vvv but much colder than normal.

Fishermen used to use this kinda bird to catch fish in the past, some fishermen still adopt this kind of method presently because it's rather efficient. Everytime the bird dives into the water, it will come back with a fish certainly. Fishermen will tie a string around the neck of the birds to prevent them from swallowing the fish that they have caught, then they will squeeze their neck to retrieve the fish. Quite cruel tsktsktsk.

Monkeys and mum (m&m) One uncle in my tour group started calling her m&m after that, ha ha ha. That uncle is damn funny and he's really v entertaining througout the trip.

Finally, the last cave - yin shi yan ( Silver cave or something like that)

It got its name cause some of it's limestones sparkle like silver when light is shone on it.

After about 2 hrs in the cave we finally emerged from the top of it.

My sis is really retarded.

Day 8

We visited our last scenic spot before we went off to the airport. This very last lake we visited is a man-made lake in a park and is the only lake in the vicinity.

Anyway, something very amazing happened in the airport - my headband changed colour!!Lol. It's supposed to be black, but when i took it out from my bag i realised it's brown and i got a shock. But when i brought it near the window it turned black again. I can't blame the lights cause the lights were not on at all since it's bright and sunny. So amazing right! haha haha. Up till now i still can't figure out what happened.

Okay i shall end off this v long post with an v irrelevant photo of Sexy Zheng and Hong taken during our class bbq bahaha. Have a good laugh.

While everyone was busy rehearsing their OP, E secretly stole a glance at hp and Ah ha! Cass the pro managed to take a priceless photo of this very moment by hiding behind a rubbish bin that was situated directly infront of them.

Long time no see, katherine! This girl practically poned every class outing.

We had steamboat dinner at some seafood place at novena which was quite nice and most importantly very very fun ( cause it's with s09) After eating we felt v stuffy so ning and i went out for a walk, lik tak and mi jie joined us later. It was damn funny cause we went into cheers to enjoy the aircon and kept putting our heads into the fridges. ha haha hahah. Then Ning suddenly had a crush for liktak, but too bad it was one sided and lik tak the meanie did not reciprocate her love. He even rejected ning's flying kisses and seemed to be terrified and overwhelmed by ning's love for him. hahahaha.

They are such fun people!!

After a v filling dinner we walked ard Novena square and gave kenneth his present before taking a long and enjoyable mrt ride home with a few of them.

Anyway, i went to meet Xian Pin and Kiaweng today. And Xian Pin baked me a cake!

The word on it is supposed to be 'CASS' but when i first saw it i mistook it for 'JAM' hahaha. It's a chocolate coated marble cake and it's rather nice. The 3 of us ( Kiaweng, Xianpin and I) actually finished the whole cake, though the 2 of them ate most of it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! (hehehe)

A big thank you to everyone who wished me happy birthday. I'm really touched and I especially didn't expect josephine to send me a msg all the way from Australia(!!) She's so sweet! And of course, I love each and everyone of you who dropped me a msg!!

Huipei handmade a pretty birthday card for me and the content's all in chinese(!!) Can you believe it?! And her chinese is so cheem that i dont even know how to read some of the words inside. The 2nd card is from Xy and Surong, ( Surong signed off as Hua xian( flower fairy) in it haahah!) She still believes that she is a flower fairy LOL. And like tak gave me a rather cute birthday card too!

Xinying and Surong actually came down to Hwa Chong and gave me a little surprise today.

I rem I was in the audi when i called Xy to tell her that I'm able to meet them earlier because math ended earlier than expected and at the other end of the phone she was laughing away. She went " Ehh surong and I took part in a chem quiz and hahaahahahahahhah..... we won! So we hahahahah have to stay in school for a while more." I actually believed them ( okay actually I didn't really believe that they will win HAHAHA) and so i decided to stay with my class for a while more before i leave for town to meet them. Then while i was walking to the canteen i saw two Rj/tanjong katong girls walking in through the gate but i didn't really pay much attention to them. It was only after Xy called me then i realised that they are the two girls. hahah. Xinying was afraid that they will get caught for crashing Hwachong, esp since they carried a weapon with them ( the knife for the birthday cake) Oh ya, i forgot to mention that Xinying baked a cake for me!! And it's quite nice, got talent ah Xinying, hahaha. Anyway we felt quite out of place so we decided that we should not eat the cake in hc, so we went off to town.

Went out with Xy on Friday and went home feeling broke. Cause other than buying my own stuff I had to shop for 3 other birthday presents. I only managed to get 2/3 of them in the end though. Caught the house bunny to waste time since Xy had to meet her classmates only at abt 6 plus and it's really bimbotic and hilarious.

Saturday was present seeking day. Met Minghan and Liktak to seek for my present , cause they claimed that they totally did not know what to get for me. Walked a few rounds ard marina square before finally deciding what to get. Played photo hunt, and that machine's totally for lao ti koh cause photos of ugly and supposedly 'sexy' women kept showing up zzz. Watched eagle eye which seriously sucked. I ended up sleeping, Minghan ended up playing patapon, lik tak ended up watching minghan play patapon. (oh yea, i discovered how fun patapon is finally, lol)

Although I visited blogger.com for a few times the past few days, I just couldn't come up with a proper post.

I'm really free these few days, spending all my time on Hot shot and other random videos on youtube. Hot shot is probably the one of the reasons why i'm not blogging, cause right now I rather spend the time watching, hah hah. Furthermore blogging requires some brain, and I'm precisely lacking in that now after promos. So pardon me if this is a brainless post.

Pw will most probably start full force on thursday, which is about 2 days from now. And that will be when school gets boring again.

Anyway, we had festival of sports yesterday and 08s7c took part in vball, bball and netball. I played vball and we were quite confident of getting into the semi finals, but things didn't go that well that day. We lost our third match and couldnt get into the semi finals. Although it's just some friendly matches and I shouldn't take it too seriously, I'll just like to say that vball is a team sport, depending on one or two members of the team is not gg to work, and srsly someone should just go and dig her ears. I admit I was quite angry at that time, cause she dashed our hopes but oh well nvm, relax Cass!
Liktak, Huipei, Galvin and I then went for a short mahjong session at Liktak's Aunt's house and ah tak emerged the big winner of the day. Thankfully we didn't play with money hahaha.

So we had sabbaticals today and I went for Golf with ah tak, jingxuan and ernest =/ Golf is quite fun! You just get this very shuang feeling when you see your golf ball fly high and far, lol! It's not easy okay, must aim well or you'll look like an idiot swinging your club with no golf ball flying out. I kinda anticipate tmr's session haha. And maybe next time i can accompany my mum to the driving range.

Went to school feeling quite happy cause there's no lessons today and cause I'll be meeting 4bn later in the morning!!
I wanted to leave hc after the mass dance at like 9am, cause Surong told me that the people from Rj will be going down to chung cheng at about 10 plus, but i stayed for the concert in the end. I don't regret staying cause it was quite entertaining.

& Gp lesson was damn funny(and quite sick) today. We were discussing about feminist at first, then it linked to hormones and to sex. Zehong then very daringly asked the teacher if he had sex before and he actually answered his question. I shall not disclose his answer but there was a very awkward silence after he answered (you should know now) until mingchou asked a very retarded question which caused the class to burst into laughter. And then he showed us a musical on crime and punishment, which is quite funny cause i think musicals are always funny. The guys kept poking fun at Mingy cause there were some skimpily dressed women dancing in the musical and they kept saying that Mingy is H---Y. BAHAHA.

I miss blogging and surfing the net cause I didn't touch the computer for the past 4 days at least. That shows how hectic my life is. Haa, actually not so, considering the fact that i spent at least 3 hrs watching olympics yesterday. And~ If you guys haven't notice, it's 20082008 today!!

Here's 1 photo from Ares night, which coincidentally fell on the 15th of the lunar 7th month. Ongweijian, liktak, hp and kalok actually wanted to take a walk ard the high school after the programme at about 10pm ( but I humji so I was against that idea haha), but in the end all of them humji so they didn't go in the end. They must be crazy to come up with such an idea, especially on 7 yue 15.zzzz

TODAY(!) I love Wednesday cause school ends at 12. Went to meet Surong at Bugis after school today. Had lunch at Nydc where we decided to write a feedback form for them. So here goes:

Surong wrote 'too slow' at first and while she's writing i felt that her pen seems rather nice to write with cause it seems to be quite smooth.(haha) So i wrote ' hello hello' using the red coloured one to to try out the pen. " We laughed like lunatics for the next few minutes and I still think it's damn funny.

XIAO JING TENG'S AUTOGRAPH SESSION!!

I'm totally mesmerized. Jam's really charming and and and, his eyes can fang dian omgahhh.

Haha Okay anyway, I met up with Lik tak, Jon soh, Surong and her sister at about 9 in the morning and started queuing for Mr xiao's autograph session at 1.30 bahah. Met juu and ros there.

I've nv done anything like that before so I was quite excited, esp since it's XIAO JING TENG the super duper vocal king.

Jonsoh is a bit funny. Initially he had to leave at 1.30 for superband practice,which means he won't even get to see xiao jing teng. It's quite retarded cause he'll be queuing for nothing and he said he just wants to just go and join the crowd to get a feel of the atmosphere zzz. However, he stayed to listen to xiaojingteng sing in the end (I guess he changed his mind after listening to xiaojingteng's videos on my psp cause he was moved by them. hahah)
Then it started pouring just before it started. Luckily we had umbrellas, but we were still drenched. BUT nothing can ever deter us from queuing for Xiao jing teng's autograph(and for that firm hand shake) hahah.

Waited outside St James for about 1.5 hrs zzz. I think I wasted like at least 6 hrs waiting today. Nvm, once in a blue moon. hah

I almost died when he was singing Wang zi de xin yi, he's seriously tooooo good to be true.

They played some games and the only thing I can say is JAM IS SO CUTE! Cause he really is.
The fans bought him a guitar, which I think is quite pretty cause it's white and it's unique cause it has Jam's name on it.

Too bad he only sang 4 songs and the concert lasted for only about an hour before he flew off into the backstage.

I think I love him even more now. Oh no, I'm gg to start my video craze again gahhhhhhhhhh.

I wonder why some people around me now are so self-centered. This is the first time I'm having this kind of feeling because this time round, there are so many people around who solely care about themselves, so many people who place themselves above the rest. They feel no obligation to spare a thought for the people around them when they carry out an action, they take people around them for granted but go missing whenever you need their assistance. Sometimes I really cannot stand it, but I can't bring myself to be angry( for a long time) at some people, so I guess I just have to bear with it. Thankfully there are some nice people around who make me feel that the environment I'm in isn't that bad after all. I really hope some people will change cause it will make life a lot easier, but I don't think I can do much about it.

I find that it is getting increasingly difficult for me to accept what my elder sister does. She is so selfish that she is turning into a mental case. She actually told my grandma to go back to her house and not stay at our house because she wants to be alone at home. If she wishes to be alone she should just move out.zzz We dont enjoy staying with her at all. I prefer to have my grandma here so much more.
She visits the toilet like 20 times (18 times just to wash her hands for no reason) everyday and takes 1.5hr to bathe each time, twice everyday. The worst thing is, I share the same toilet as her. She washes her hands so many times as if she is v clean but her room is nothing but a pile of shit. All the food wrappers, drink bottles and all the other rubbish piled on her table. I can't stand being in her room for more than 1 min and normally, i try to hold my breath inside her room cause I'm afraid i'll inhale some bacteria. She cannot sit with us on the sofa because we are supposedly ' dirty' to her and if we accidentally touch her she will need to go and wash her hands like some clean freak which is quite contradicting since her hygiene is damn bad.
I know I should not badmouth my sister like that but I really cannot stand it when she told my grandma to go home, how unfilial can she get? She don't even feel guilty to tell a 70 year old to go home alone at night ( journey home takes about 1 hr by bus) just because she wishes to be alone.( there are many other incidents which i dont think i should name here) I really can't imagine her becoming a social worker in the future. I think she need to council herself first instead.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIA!

Went to Cine to celebrate Julia's birthday with lynette, galvin and jon soh just now. Ate at pasta cause some of them are undergoing some financial crisis. All of us, except Julia, ordered Jon soh's recommendation - al funghi which tasted just like creamy chicken except that the chicken pieces are replaced by mushrooms. I quite like it since i like creamy stuff but lynette found it a torture to eat something like that. In the end jonsoh actually had to cai quan with lynette to force her to eat a bit more of her food haha quite funny.

The birthday girl left early and lynette pangseh us cause she needed to reach home early, so in the end only galvin, jon soh and I went to catch Zohan which is quite a retarded movie. Thennn, we went for ice cream at swensen's cause jon soh started craving for ice cream after i told him that i'm craving for ice cream. Talked a bit before i decided to use my phone's warp function on jon soh. But after i took the photo I realise his face alr looks damn funny without warping. Look!
HAHAHA. Anyway, for readers who are not from hwa chong, he is from Wu ge ren in fei chang superband! Support them k, cause they are vgood! lol

I don't regret getting into dancesport now lol.

Yay exams are overrr!
Though the results will be agonizing but at least.... I don't have to mug like crazy.

Visited chungcheng(again) last friday, after my last killer Bio paper, with Surong, vera, yiting and xinying. Met xie shern, mun wee and some other ppl there. Went to look for some teachers and talked a bit before we took a slow walk around the chung cheng lake under the scorching sun which caused us to melt. Anyway, I think Mr Dava still loves us a lot lol, cause he kept telling us to go up to his office for i dk what reason. He probably got a pay rise because of our literature results last year, hahah. Or maybe he's just a v nice teacher, though i only grew to like him a bit more after i left chung cheng.

Then...... I went to meet Ningy cause students from Raffles are real busy people. Lol, yiting, vera, xinying and surong (all from Raffles), all had something on after that.

I love going out with Ningy a lot cause we can always go for nice food and she's so nice and all such that I can shop with her without getting this very restricted feeling I get sometimes when I go shopping with some other people.

She changed her hairstyle and dyed her hair. lol, coool!

Went to Xian Pin's big (and v pretty) house for his housewarming with Guowei and Kia weng, who pangseh-ed us at first bcause he continued sleeping even though i called him like 10 times, but came later after he woke up. I thought it's a condo we're going to initially, but it turned out to be a semi-detached, with a cool kitchen, very spacious living room, games room(!!) and a extra big master bedroom spanning the entire third level. You qian ren ahhhhh.

We had bbq and then the 4 of us went to play mahjong and ps3, where i owned guowei hahah. So now i have some more mahjong khakis whom i can play mahjong with. (yay yay yay!!) And talking about mahjong, i miss my other mahjong khakis!! Xinying, surong and vera let's play mahjong after exams okay? haaa.

HELLO EVERYBODY I'M BACK FROM PERAK!!!!

And I'm still aliveeeee yay.

Though my camp at perak was kinda scary but I'm feeling quite sad that it's all over now. I feel like going back cause it's so fun but I dont want to go back cause it's scary, haaa. At least I experienced so many things that I'd nv done before.

We set off with about 15 girls, 3 guys and 2 teachers and reached ipoh at about 5 in the morning where we wasted time at Macdonald's until around 8 before we left for the cave.

Caving was quite fun on the whole. We had to climb up about 600 steps to the top of the cave and I almost died after that cause I was still sick and I only slept about 1 hr on the bus cause i suffer from insomnia, hah. The cave's filled with interesting formations of limestones, which look like monkey, lady, car, batman, ghost, heart, horse, goat, dragon etc. After all the steps we proceeded to the wet part of the cave, where we had to climb down some scary place with no railings or whatever to hold on and it was quite slippery and if you fall, you'll go straight down. Damn dangerous and scary!! But I survived haa. The first part of the wet part was still okay cause we can walk upright and the water level's quite low, but after that the hole got smaller till we practically had to crawl with our whole body submerged in the water. It's quite painful cause all those rocks underneath are quite rough. After crawling for about 1 hr we finally completed our trail. I didn't take any photos cause I didn't bring my camera with me into the cave.

After that we were transported on a lorry, like pigs to the slaughter house , to the waterfall for abseiling.

We had to climb up to the top of the waterfall before we abseiled down the gushing water. I went down with Julia and it was quite funny cause I lost my balance at the beginning and after i regained my balance, julia fell and she was like swinging from one side to another. Lol. I had a cut on my knee after that, quite unlucky based on the fact that i was the only one who was injured. zzz
It was white water rafting after that, I seriously almost died there. lol I fell off the raft like twice. The first time was when our raft hit a rock and everybody fell to my side of the raft and I fell out. Only I felt out, really really suay, but quite lucky that i held on to the rope and the instructor pulled me up. I dk why but i was laughing when i fell out cause i think it's quite funny. Then the second time was when our instructor told us to all move to one side of the raft when we were passing through some rocks and then our raft capsized. I was damn scared cause I was trapped under the raft and i couldnt get out. Then just as I was running out of air and thought i was going to die, I managed to push myself out of it and was saved by lam, who pulled me up into his raft. So i survived again!! After that i had phobia of falling off cause it was such a near death experience. I dont think I'll want to go rafting again in the near future. We returned to our ulu campsite after that and bathed with clothes on in a common toilet with no roof.

The next day started off with a 1hr plus trek to the hill where we were supposed to find rafflesia flowers and a trek up the hill filled with leeches. Some parts of the hill were so steep that we had to use a rope to pull ourselves up and it's damn tiring. We did that for about 100 metres uphill and by the time we reached some flat land i was already fainting and the worst thing was there was no rafflesia, only a rafflesia bud. A single pathetic bud which i wasn't interested in. The guide told us that we have to climb another 30min uphill if we want to see the flower but some of us are alr dying so we went back down. The whole journey took about 2 hrs and I suffered from 4 leech bites, disgusting.

After that we went back to ipoh and had free and easy.

We stayed at this ulu budget hotel.

We went shopping and had ipoh horfun, tao gei and chicken for dinner as a group. We walked around and saw funny shops like 'eleven eleven' instead of 'seven eleven' before we went to have our rainbow lolo dessert + fried lala. It's quite a weird combi but the lala was quite tasty.

We started to lao the tao gei like how we lao yu sheng. hahah.

The 3 guys with us were damn funny cause they were quite gay and timid. One of the gay-er guys actually screamed when he found a leech on his ankle. And throughout the trip they kept disturbing Mr Lam, calling him lam and saying words like Lamborghini, lamly burger(adapted from Ramly burger), alarm clock etc and they really sounded funny + a lot of many other random things they said. It's so coincidental that on our way back we saw this ' Lam's abalone soup' shop hahah.

Tuesday - Wednesday

Stayed back in school till 8 pm on tuesday, though I had a terrible headache, to prepare for arts festival performance on Wendesday. I volunteered as backstage crew so that i can earn some cip hours, and i'm unlucky enough to be sick. Be fortunately back stage was quite slack, cause we only had to go out to move some chairs for the performacers a few times and we can just slack around or peep through the curtains to look at the performance, like this :

Stayed back till 9 plus on Wednesday for arts fest which was quite successful cause the number of people who turned up exceeded expectation( we expected 2 people to turn up). Chris Ho, who's my form teacher and the teacher in charge of this arts fest decided to treat us to ice cream after that, but I went home instead cause I had a headache(again) and sore throat and cough and flu.

School as usual, looked forward to Friday cause it's the last day of school.

Last day of school hurray! But school wasn't too good as it lasted from 8am to 5.30pm. Today marks the last day of Ong wei jian being our chemistry teacher. My class bought him an adidas bag to try to instill some essence of coolness in him, we also wrote him 2 cards, filled with whatever we wish to tell him. I bet he'll cry after reading it haa. Played pictionary during Ct which was quite fun cause you see people getting exasperating and doing funny actions like jumping about and flapping their arms when we are not able to guess what they drew.

We, or rather me, julia, debbie and lynette, continued being hyper during joel tee's lesson which was the last lesson of the day, the week, and the term, and we just couldn't stop talking and fooling ard. So joel tee got quite pissed with us and kept telling us to concentrate, which we obviously can't. Julia and i started playing this " guess where it comes from" game, where we will take a picture of something each and ask each other what is that thing in the picture. Examples of photos:

But I cannot escape in perak zzz, please don't be so warm over there, please! Other than that, i'm quite looking forward to a fun filled experience there, though not the people. =/

Went for Hc's dance night with Ningy on Friday. It was okay I guess, though some parts were quite boring, and I can't stand the female mc.

Wanted to go for cheese cake at cafe cartel after that but didn't go in the end cause my throat wasn't in a good condition.

Met up on Saturday again for a stay over. Shopped, Caught What Happens in Vegas, quite a funny movie, and had our fav cheese cake( ha, we just don't feel right not eating it.)before heading off to my house, where she fell in love with honey. I'll have this crave for dessert whenever I'm with ning lol.

We continued our shoppong journey on Sunday, kick starting with cafe cartel breakfast and an early morning movie - speed racer. That movie's a retard, the whole thing is like a computer game, so unrealistic. I think they're trying to make it sophisticated and 'high tech' to depict the future but seriously it looks like any other cartoons my cousins watch, like some cheapo movie. Can't believe that it's actually a Hollywood production. I'll nv watch it if not for Rain, it's just another disappointment after I'm a cyborg but it's okay.

We shopped and bought quite a lot of things before we headed to sakae for lunch. Ning ate this red bloody baby octopus thing that I was totally disgusted with. Lol. It's like you eat the whole thing, including the head which contains the brain omgggg.

Ning feeling satisfied after she devoured all those bloody babies. :O I wanted to try sakae's green tea cheese cake but they didn't have it.

I shall visit Ning's place during the december holidays if my mum approves & lastly, I love nongnungning..!

Yay today was quite a fun day.

Fell sick (on purpose) with lynette and debbie during Gp and went off to King Albert's park for breakfast. Debbie was reluctant to leave school at first, cause she claimed that as the Gp rep she should set a good example, but in the end, hai shi bei wo men shuo fu le. heheh.

So we attempted to sneak out of school. Came up with a great plan(lol) which is that we should walk alone and pretend that we don't know each other. Our plan wasn't that great after all cause in the end only lynette managed to get out, Debbie and I were stopped by the security guard. zzzz. The security guard was like 'Do you have the green form? No green form cannot go out. If you want to go out, go to another gate where i cannot see you, then I will not stop you.' hahah quite funny, so we went to another gate at the high school side and managed to get out at last.

We finished breakfast at ard 11.30 and realised that we still had time for a movie then, since we only need to go back to school at 1.30 for Econs make up. So we ran down to cold storage and grabbed a newspaper to check the timings for Ironman. We stood there, flipped the papers, messed it all up, and after checking the timings we tried to fold it back neatly and placed it back on the shelf again, a bit trying to be funny only. Lol. Okay, so the timings weren't really appropriate but we really wanted to watch, so we started playing scissors paper stone. Like, if you win then we go that kinda thing haaaa. Although fate decided that we should not go, we persisted until Debbie won me at the last round and then convinced ourselves that we should go, but watch Nim's Island instead of Iron man. So we rushed back down to Cold storage and bought the newspaper in the end. Then a taxi stopped by just as we were checking the timings, and lynette climbed into it immediately, pulling me along, though we had not confirmed that there's a suitable movie timing yet. So lynette went,' uncle uncle dui bu qi, wo men yi ding hui qu de, zhi shi yao check na ge timing er yi, uncle sorry ah sorry.....' haaahahah. In the end both of us went out of the taxi, with lynette apologizing profusely to the taxi driver, cause there ain't a suitable timing at all. Damn malu & funny laaaaaaaaaa. I think we stood there and laughed for 5 minutes.

So, we decided that we should go and watch it after school in the end and that we should just stand up and walk out of the classroom at 2.30 cause Iron man at Plaza Singapura starts at 2.45pm. The class was punctual and we managed to reach on time. &&& IRON MAN IS REALLY COOL, ALL OF YOU SHOULD GO AND WATCH IT!! It's something like transformers, and I quite enjoy these kinda movies. I'm going to watch speed racer next.

This is quite a lengthy post hah, maybe cause I'm quite free today. No test, no homework and everything that's due tmr. Been quite long since i felt so carefree.

Track and Field Meet

We spent the time doing Bio prac + studying Chem, which was much more meaningful than sitting there wasting time and watching ppl run. After all the mugging I rushed down to Town with lika taka at like 10 in the morning cause of something impt and then rushed back to school at 11, after which these photos were taken.
I'm supposed to be eating Julia's head, but her head's too big for me to eat hahaha.

08S09 outing at West coast park

I suggested climbing this pyramid thing and I think I'm the one making so much( or too much) fuss up there. I think I'm scared of heights, I was climbing and got stuck halfway cause I couldn't force myself to climb any higher. And I was reluctant to sit down cause I'm afraid my butt will fall through, but i sat down finally cause they convinced me that my butt's big enough. Hahaha.

We decided to head towards Jurong Point after only a few hrs at West Coast cause we were all melting. I think the Sun's crazy these days and all of us will start exploding and die. Anyway we were at the arcade when Ming han lost his phone, quite sad. I hope that guy who stole his phone fall into the drain everytime he tries to jump across one and step on poo whenever he leaves his house.

I've finally completed my PI!!

Though it's still a piece of shit but I've decided not to make any more amendments and just leave it. Hopefully my gpp and written report will be good enough to earn me an A ultimately, but it seems quite impossible presently. Yay no more PI!

Life is so hectic and tiring even without cca that I look forward but do not look forward to Fridays. I like Fridays cause I can finally sleep for all I want, but Fridays are bloody long days from 8 till 4 in the afternoon + mugging with Julia till evening.

Now that I've completed my PI, i shall go out and play. Lol.

Wasted one whole day instead of mugging at home for bio lecture test on Monday.
Went to visit my aunt who just gave birth & her baby's gorgeous! Rly cute heh. He's only less than 1 week old but has already opened his eyes. According to my mum, I did not open my eyes for the whole of my first month, and no matter what she did I just refused to open my eyes, so yeah i slept throughout. Lol. And since the baby's like 1/4 a caucasian, I suppose he'll grow up to be quite a handsome young man. haha. I think he has a rather unconventional Christian name - Noah, and quite an interesting Chinese name - Ming Zi. So when ppl ask in chinese " Ni jiao she me ming zi" he'll go, " wo de ming zi shi ming zi" Quite amusing. hahah. What really spooked me is the fact that one of their 2 dogs died on 14/4 last year, and coincidentally Noah's born on 14/4 this year. So coincidental that it's scary.

I shall post some photos tmr if i have time & right now I think I'll go and write my letter for angel and then go catch some sleep so i'll have energy to mug tmr.

My neck, shoulders, arms and legs are aching now because of vball yesterday. the worst thing is there's 2.4 + sports day tmr. And! there's maths lecture test, which will be 10% of promo but i still do not know how to do graphs and differentiation....... D.I.E

I shall spare myself a few minutes before I return to attempt to do some math questions.

The trip back to Chung Cheng brought back many memories. It felt comfortable to see so many familiar faces around, unlike being in Hc where I practically don't know anyone. Chung Cheng definitely is more homely. The few hours i spent playing vball made me feel like joining vball in Hc again, though i hate trainings, but it seems like my passion for it hasn't died off at all. Well, we shall see.

Being with Xinying and Surong = a lot of laughter. I really miss those times when we were together. I miss those stupid things Sr say sometimes that make people really laugh so hard, like when exclaimed " wah cha yi dian bian cheng mei ren yu" when she almost fell into the lake that time and she self proclaiming that she is the " flower fairy". &Xinying, who will always maintain her calm composure when I'll freaking out beside her because of a test later or for whatever reasons. I miss how she'll continue walking and act as if nothing's happening when Surong and I are trying to be funny just beside her. lol (but I know there's something/one who will definitely make you panic and start running away to avoid.) heh heh heh.

I miss the times with 4bn as well. Like how kong initiated the idea of fooling Miss quek that there's an earthquake by screaming and hiding under our tables halfway into the lesson. Those fun times, which may never be recovered since we've all moved on, advancing different paths.

It rained again in the midst of Frisbee training today, someone must be against Frisbee training I guess.
Since i felt like sleeping, i left when the j2s gave us a choice to leave or to stay back to play some random Frisbee games. Anyway, frisbee's becoming more and more un-cool. Shhhhit, I do not have a cca omgggslakdjlsa. This is getting irritating.
